Dressmaking Classes in Exmouth

Fridays, 1 - 4pm, £10 per session

This ongoing weekly course is aimed at those who wish to improve their dressmaking skills to achieve a more professional result. You will be able to work on a project of your choice or several projects if you want to do some homework in between classes and want to brush up on particular skills. We can cover concealed and ordinary zip placements, sleeve setting, interfacing and interlining as well as ironing out problems that you may have with your dressmaking. You can book your session by telephone on a week by week basis and if the class proves popular I will add another during the week.

Following is a list of items that you will need to bring with you to the classes;

• Fabrics and notions
• Pattern
• Sewing machine and handbook
• Sewing kit including glass or plastic large headed pins, needles, scissors and threads

Please note;
Only glass or plastic large headed pins may be used for the courses as they are easier to see when dropped on the floor. If you do not have large headed pins you can buy a pack from me on the day for £1. Click here for a list of other haberdashery items available.
